I really hope someone sees this that knows Aunt Clair. Several years ago, she gave me a reading that FOREVER changed my life. Because of how personal it was, and the details involved, I really don't want to say what.

I found her on MSN Messenger, and even being a skeptic, I went to her for help. My soul and spirit and everything else that matters needed to talk to her, out of all the psychic mediums in the world. My endeavor proved to be a success. She gave me healing information that has forever changed my life, in many ways.

Can someone PLEASE help me find contact with her again? I really need to speak with her. PLEASE someone, help me. I am in desperate need to speak with her again. This doesn't involve money or fame, relationship issues etc... This goes beyond and will help me make life changing decisions with her *guidance*. The matter is of up-most importance. You can also email me if you know her direct (online) contact information at delinked -at- gmail (dot) com

Any ideas on how to contact her would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for reading, and for any pointers or information ahead of time!

Sincerely,
Kevin

Hello everyone.

It's been a while since the last update, but the good news is that, after an extended break of sorts -- in the main, to take a semi-break from the internet and metaphysics, and focus our efforts on "real life" matters for a change -- I, and the rest of my compatriots, are slowly returning and looking to kick AS into gear.

There have been several notable updates: the first being The Founder's article, Building Bridges, which gets my personal seal of approval. I fully recommend you check it out as soon as you are able to. Here's the link. Don't be shy in responding, either. The Founder is looking for feedback, so if you have some, you can email him at buildingbridges@hidden-truths.org.

Then there is the small matter of my Real-Time Viewing project, and also this meditation article written by Netwire.

Aside from this, we will be looking to update the site within the next couple of months. There's no reason for alarm: it will simply be a lick of paint here and there, and perhaps greater choice and functionality, along with several new features.

Posted "First Encounter" on the Astral Society homepage - for anyone interested in my first UFO experience, just follow this link.

I'll be posting more of my close encounters over the coming months (and, again, if any of you guys have any of your own metaphysical/paranormal experiences to tell, please send 'em in - and if they're good, we'll post 'em).

Cutting yourself off from your imagination is like attempting to
function with only half your self intact. It's true, many adapt to
such a "half" existence, but it is always with a great feeling of loss
and a knowing that something important is missing. When you lose
connection with this wise and knowing part of yourself, you go through
life without knowing why you are here. True love eludes those who are
not in touch with their soul. Life becomes an endless striving for
material gain that never quenches the growing thirst for spiritual
connection.

Those who have cut themselves off from their imagination can choose to
reconnect by changing their beliefs about the imagination. Understand
and accept that all the images your imagination brings you are real
and true and apply to you. Your imagination only brings you images
that are an energetic match for your present reality. Sometimes, in
order to understand the full meaning of these images, it is necessary
to view them in a symbolic rather than literal way. Perceiving your
existence in a symbolic way requires you to take a few steps back from
physical reality and enter the realm of the mystical.

From the Hathor Message of February 3, 2007

“We suggest you experiment with this; play with this, and master this very simple geometry. Carry it with you in your conscious awareness at all times so that you may create it at will, as needed, both for yourself and those you are connected to.

“It is called a Holon, and the specific one we refer to is the Octahedron, or the Holon of Balance. Imagine yourself surrounded by a pyramid of light that extends above you and a matching pyramid below you. These are square-based pyramids, one pointing up, and one pointing down. You are in the center of this. If you are lying down, you are on the square, where the two halves of pyramids touch, and the pyramid above you matches the pyramid below you. You make this as large or as small as you wish, so long as you are completely enclosed within it."

“If you are standing or sitting, the axis of the octahedron extends through the center of your body, so that if you were to draw a line through the apex of the pyramid through the center down to the apex of the opposite pyramid, this line would pass through the center of your body. This octahedron balances energy. It is the balancing of the male and female aspect of consciousness. Do not let its simplicity fool you. It is a powerful tool for balancing subtle energies.”

The Hathors

Some Observations from TomThe octahedron is one of five three-dimensional geometric shapes known collectively as the Platonic Solids. The octahedron has a total of eight sides, thus the root octa, meaning eight. The top pyramid has four sides and the bottom pyramid has four sides, and the bases of both pyramids meet to form a square. The Platonic Solids can be found occurring naturally in nature, especially in the form of crystalline structures, as well as atomic and molecular configurations. Esoterically speaking, each of the Platonic Solids has specific energetic effects. Some people have emailed us and asked if the octahedron is the same as the star tetrahedron, and no, it is not. The star tetrahedron consists of two triangular based pyramids, and they are not joined at the base. They merge into each other. The star tetrahedron also has different energetic effects from the octahedron.

When I first received information about the Holon of Balance from the Hathors, I thought it was pretty simplistic. But sometimes the simple things are the best. There is no doubt in my mind that this Holon imparts a feeling of balance and protection when it is engaged.

http://www.astralsociety.com/as/Forum/

Last week you may have noticed some downtime on the forum. This was to integrate several new child-boards into the Forum News and Announcements board, as well as to perform the usual forum debugging and cleaning procedures.

As always, we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

The forum now includes a Talk to the Staff board, an area in which to raise any issues or problems you have with the Site. If you have any ideas for the site or forum itself then feel free to post them there (especially since we have removed the Ideas board).

In addition there is also a Staff and Moderator profile board - this should provide you with some small amount of information regarding the individuals running and maintaining the site. We'll be looking to expand these profiles over the coming months, so check back from time to time.

Other than that, everything's going well! A big welcome to all the new members who have recently joined Astral Society, we hope you enjoy your time here.

Excerpts taken directly from:

Evolution in This Lifetime:
A Practical Guide to Kundalini & Chakras
by Genevieve Lewis Paulson Copyright 2003 Llewellyn Publications

"Kundalini, a Sanskrit word meaning, 'circular power', is an individual's basic evolutionary force. Each of us is born with some of this energy flowing. The amount available and useable determines whether a person has low intelligence, a genius, or is somewhere in the middle.

It's not just a matter of using what we already have, but of awakening the much greater amount waiting in the kundalini reservoir located at the base of the spine.

Kundalini is a natural force common to all of us. It is not a religion, although it is practiced by some religions and the process can enhance and develop each person's own religious beliefs.

How To Gain Control of Your Own Thoughts
Quite often we find ourselves with many negative thoughts going through our mind. These trains of thoughts can become very powerful as we endlessly repeat them in our mind. The problem is that that the more we focus on the thoughts, the more powerful they become. Therefore, it can become very difficult to stop these endless cycles of thoughts.

However, it is definitely possible and these are a few tips to control our thoughts.

1. Make a conscious decision to Stop the thoughts

The problem is that sometimes we attach ourselves to certain ideas and problems, and we subconsciously get a kind of pleasure from going through a certain problem / issue. If we subconsciously keep inviting the thoughts, we will never be able to stop them. Therefore, the first stage is to make a clear and conscious decision to stop the repetition of the thoughts. Be aware of their negative impact and don’t allow them to come any more. This conscious step is an indispensable stage in controlling our thoughts.

2. Look upon the Thoughts as being Outside of yourself.

When we first try to stop the thoughts, it seems very difficult because they feel such a strong part of our mind. Therefore, the second stage is to feel that the thoughts are separate to our self. When a thought appears in your mind, look upon the thought as coming from outside yourself. This is a very powerful way to reduce the impact of thoughts on our mind. Once we realise our thoughts are separate to ourselves it becomes possible to stop them.

3. Who is it who listens to thoughts?

This is a technique to try and discover the origination of your thoughts. Whenever a thought appears, just ask yourself, who is it who is thinking this? What we do is to try and discover the source of thoughts. Through asking this question we realise that there is an “I” which can decide to accept or reject thoughts. By asking this question we will be able to stop the thoughts as soon as they enter. You are not a victim of your own thoughts, it is you who either rejects or gives life to thoughts.

4. Catch thoughts as soon as they appear.

This exercise requires a determined effort on our part. We need to be vigilant and watch every thought that enters our mind. As soon as we see a negative thought enter, we must immediately discard it and refuse to follow it. The more we follow thoughts, the more difficult it becomes to stop them later. Therefore, it is best to catch them as soon as possible.

5. Concentrate on Something else.

If we have a train of thoughts which have gained a stranglehold over our mind, the best solution is often to just try and do something completely different. Don’t just sit around, go and do something which gives you no opportunity to ruminate over your thoughts. By doing this we ignore the thoughts completely, and they lose there hold over us.

“Wrong thoughts are inside us just because we identify ourselves with these thoughts. If we identify with something else, immediately they have to leave us.”

- Sri Chinmoy [1]

6. Meditation

Meditation is the best way to learn how to control our thoughts. Meditation involves the art of concentration and quietening the mind. In meditation we not only try to control our thoughts but we also can bring to the fore our inner qualities of peace and oneness. If we can invoke the calming power of our own heart, then we use an alternative force to take the place of the negative mind.

“The mind has its own power, and right now this power is stronger than your present eagerness and determination to meditate. But if you can get help from your heart, then gradually you will be able to control your mind. The heart, in turn, gets constant assistance from the soul, which is all light and all power.”

- Sri Chinmoy [2]

We should meditate every day so that we can bring to the fore as much as peace as possible into our mind. If we only meditate when we are overrun with thoughts, we will find meditation very difficult. But, if we gain peace of mind through our daily meditation then we develop our inner capacities to control our thoughts.
